I really need to make myself a schedule where I plan at least a blog entry per week. So keeping to my word I’d like to tell everyone my weekend in Budapest. It was a blast… We left from home rather late at around 2PM local and arrived in the middle of the night in Budapest… But it was totally worth it. After getting some sleep the next day, which was the very reason we went, we started off with a little pre-party at our friends house where we were staying. And keeping true to my Skype heritage I proposed to mix millimallikas for everyone. It was a major hit and the party rocked on afterwards.

The whole weekend was one of the best, as we went to the amusement park where we tried out almost everything that we considered to be safe to try out. Plus a nice walk on the river bed of the Danube. While walking back we passed the Parliament building where to our great surprise everything was covered in black and the flag was lowered, in honor of the late Polish president Lech Kaczynski who died in a terrible accident. Hungary decided that April the 17th will be a day of mourning in his memory. This act really showed the solidarity of a country towards another one, but as one nation to the other. But most importantly as people to people.
I’ll be back with a new post next week right after the Saint George days are over, hopefully I can catch some great shots during
